What Happens When Doctors Start Asking Who Makes Your Generic?

Who makes your generic?

I recently read an article by Toni Clarke and Bill Berkrot, "Unease grows among US doctors over Indian drug quality." The piece raised some interesting points around the quality of imported drugs and the fact that doctors are starting to question the origin of the drugs they are prescribing to their patients. Recently, the FDA banned the importation of products from certain pharmaceutical manufacturers due to quality control problems, including data manipulation and sanitation. According to the article, "Some US doctors are becoming concerned about the quality of generic drugs supplied by Indian manufacturers following a flurry of recalls and import bans by the Food and Drug Administration."

Kevin E. Leinger IntegriChain CEO

Kevin Leininger is CEO at IntegriChain. He has spent the last 20 years building and launching software and services companies in the financial services, petroleum, and pharmaceutical industries, and he is extremely passionate about the ways that data can transform business processes through the power of technology. Survey Says: The Truth About Data, Out of Stocks, and Lost Sales

What does the Buyer-Supplier Connection look like in numbers?

A team from IntegriChain is attending ECRM Cough/Cold, Analgesics, and Allergy this week in Amelia Island, FL, and so we thought it would be worth taking a look back at the results of the Downstream Data & Buyer-Supplier Connection survey we conducted at the same conference last year. We spoke to over 50 manufacturers and asked a lot of questions about their forward supply chain. We asked things like what kind of data do you get from the channel? Are you currently doing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) with any of your accounts? How do out of stocks impact your business? The results were fascinating and more than a little eye-opening.

IntegriChain is excited about momentum going into 2014!

2013 proved to be a year of strong corporate momentum and continued growth for IntegriChain and Demand Network Analytics (DNA). We saw all-time highs in revenue and ACV bookings, as well as positive EBITDA. Also, the release of DNA Order Management in October demonstrated its robust capacity for high transaction volumes, processing over half a million order lines in its first 3 months in production alone! This was very exciting for IntegriChain and has given us excellent momentum going into 2014.
