Each month, IntegriChain collects product advertisements, catalogues, price sheets, fax blasts, and quote requests from more than 1,000 secondary wholesalers, Internet pharmacies, and Internet trade boards (“bulk” sale sites). IntegriChain surveys currently track more than 100 blockbuster and high-risk drugs.

Market Vigilance™ reports on each outlet that advertises a manufacturer’s brands. The program then compares each advertisement against the U.S. Wholesale Acquisition Cost (WAC) for the product, its packaging specifications, and its authorized distributors. If the price of a surveyed product is suspiciously high, low, or otherwise inconsistent with approved packaging, Market Vigilance™ alerts the manufacturer. 

Based on these alerts, manufacturers can proactively screen high-risk markets for products that could endanger patient safety and channel integrity by acting on Market Vigilance™ alerts and monthly reports with product purchases, testing and authentication.
