Edward G. Casey

Mr. Casey managed and led global security operations for Procter & Gamble for 10 years having worked there for over 20 years.  Recognized as an international leader and innovator in the profession of global corporate security management, Mr. Casey continues to be a leading practioner and consultant with extensive experience in global supply chain integrity management and incident risk mitigation.  Prior to Procter & Gamble, Mr. Casey spent 14 years with the US Treasury Department as a Special Agent in the Criminal Investigation Division. He holds various professional affiliations including ASIS International, ISMA, The Conference Board and OSAC.


James A. Dahl
Consultant and Former Assistant Director, FDA OCI

Mr. Dahl is a retired federal law-enforcement agent with more than 35 years of increasing professional experience.  Mr. Dahl is a recognized national and international expert in a variety of FDA related issues including drug counterfeiting, product diversion, supply chain security, crisis management, vulnerability assessment and security.   While at the FDA, Mr. Dahl managed all field operations and criminal investigations within OCI including supervising most of the significant criminal investigations.  Prior to the FDA, Mr. Dahl was a Managing Director at Kroll-O'Gara with responsibility for crisis planning and response investigations for a variety of global clients.  Mr. Dahl was a U.S. Postal Inspector from 1971 to 1992 and served with the U.S. Department of Justice and as an investigator with the U.S. House of Respresentatives, Subcommittee on Crime.  Mr. Dahl lectures frequently and serves on the advisory board of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Information Sharing Advisory committee for supply chain security.  He is also on the board of directors of the National Association of Former Special Agents of FDA. 


Donald E. deKieffer
Founder, deKieffer & Horgan

Mr. deKieffer practices in the fields of international trade regulations and policy and intellectual property enforcement since 1971.  He has represented clients before the U.S. Departments of Commerce, State, Labor and Treasury, the U.S. International Trade Commission, The United States Trade Representative and the U.S. Customs Service (now ICE and CBP) and the U.S. Court of International Trade.  Mr. deKieffer has an extensive background in international trade regulation law including Customs regulation, antidumping and countervailing duties, foreign policy trade controls, anti-counterfeiting/anti-diversion and international commercial transactions.  From 1968-1971, Mr. deKieffer served on the professional staff of the United States Senate Republican Policy Committee.  From 1981-1983 Mr. deKieffer served as General Counsel to the Office of the United States Trade Representative, Executive Office of the President.  In this capacity, he was in charge of representing the United States government in both bilateral and multilateral negotiations.  He is a member of the Product Surety Task forces (both Food and Pharmaceuticals) of the FDA and has spoken at numerous conferences on the subject of international supply chain security and product integrity.  He is currently President of EDDI, Inc. a Washinton-based company that maintains databases of counterfeiters, diverters and their accomplices.  Mr. deKieffer has authored numerous articles on trade and other matters as well as written five books.  He speaks frequently and has appeared on both foreign and domestic television. 


Adam J. Fein, Ph.D.

Dr. Fein is the founder and president of Pembroke Consulting, Inc., a boutique management consulting and research firm.  Dr. Fein consults with manufacturers on channel strategy, advises technology companies on marketing, serves as an expert witness and legal consultant on selected cases involving pharmaceutical distribution, and delivers presentations to executives around the world.  Dr. Fein is a well-known scholar and thought leader on distribution channels and B2B supply chains.  He has published over 100 academic and industry articles as well as authored or edited eight books for the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW).  He also writes an online web log devoted to the pharmaceutical industry at http://DrugChannels.blogspot.com.  Dr. Fein has been quoted by many major business publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Business Week, Inc. Magazine, The Chicago Tribune, NPR's Marketplace and Pharmaceutical Executive.  He was named to Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine's list of "Top Industry Analysts to Know."  He serves as the first Fellow of NAW's Institute for Distribution Excellence, as a Senior Fellow at the Wharton School of Business' Mack Center for Technological Innovation, and on the editorial board of Pharmaceutical Commerce magazine.
